1. General Statement of Health & Safety Intent

EntireFM is committed to ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our employees, contractors, clients, building occupants, and members of the public who may be affected by our facilities management operations.

2. Organisation, Competent Persons & CDM 2015

Executive health & safety accountability rests with our Directors, supported by qualified Competent Persons (NEBOSH/IOSH). Where maintenance works constitute construction under CDM Regulations 2015, we plan, manage, and monitor works accordingly.

3. Safe Systems of Work for High-Risk Activities

Mandatory Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are enforced across all high-risk operational areas:

  • Working at Height: Strict hierarchy of control, certified access equipment, PASMA/IPAF qualifications.
  • Electrical Safety: Works executed to BS 7671 standards by NICEIC/approved engineers with safe isolation procedures.
  • Commercial Gas: Gas Safe registered engineers complying with Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
  • Hazardous Substances (COSHH): Safety Data Sheets and appropriate PPE for industrial cleaning and chemical handling.
  • Asbestos Protocol: Operatives must review site Asbestos Registers; invasive works stop immediately if suspect materials are identified.
